The Flos Arco Floor Lamp is the called the father of All the Floor Lamps. It was designer in 1962 by the famous designers Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The lamp comes with a heavy marble base and an adjustable arc to secure the required height.
This lamp though designed in 1962 still serves as the best seller for FLOS till date. It is also the most copied lamp in the world. You can see many variations of this lamp throughout. This lamp has featured in many movies and has been an integral part of luxury living for many many years.
The most interesting part of this lamp is that there is a hole on the marble. The reason is to make it easier for people to move the marble by putting a rod through this whole and lifting it. Great thought though by the designers.
